No More Show Business is basically finished with a few minor touches still needing to be put in place. Along with the guitars, drums, and bass also thrown here and there are some Piano, Acoustic Guitar, Mandolin and Chanting. Guest vocals appear courtesy of Chris Wallace on ScamWay and Let Some Free, and guest drums by Azza are present on NMSB and the re-recorded grind tracks.

We're still not fully sure how we will get this album made up, but it's looking like we'll do an initial run of no more than 200. These will be limited edition with the bonus tracks in tact. Any more made after that will not include the bonus tracks. Basically to reward those who buy the CD early. Also sorry for it taking 3 years, but hey it'll be worth it. Trust me.

The Album
Work on "No More Show Business" is well and truly cooking. New songs are building up nicely for a generally heavier album than This Side Up. So far the songs we have for the album are (in no particular order): Elimination of the Mind, Nothing Left, ScamWay, Let Some Free, Mind Over Matter, Black Widow, Ice Cream Parlour, No More Show Business. Most recently songs are being created in two groups, Azza is working his riffs with Buddah to create full songs, and Joel and I have been working together to come up with ours. When songs are taking shape the full band learns them and we make more decisions on how it should sound. Time is against us on this project as Buddah and I will both be moving early this year. Despite this I'm confident the album will be finished and turn out very...very nicely.

Merchandise
The most recent run of Emprica merchandise sold very well. Although most have sold out, we still have some stuff left. Check out the Stuff page for more info. There's pretty much bugger all of everything except for small shirts. If you'd like one, drop us a comment on our MySpace or email feebal_squint_rock@hotmail.com. Postage is free to anywhere in Australia.
Updated Saturday 3rd November
Welcome once again thanks for checking into emprica.com. It's not all about MySpace after all. There's ALOT of stuff happening at the moment so now is probably a good time to keep everyone posted on what is happening as well as all our future plans.

NEW ALBUM

We are currently hard at it writing new material which will join our other "post This Side Up" material to form a new album.
The current working title is "No More Show Business." Perhaps suitable as this could well be our last release for a long time. Already we have a couple of new songs on the go. Hopefully the album will be released before Christmas. (PHOTOS LEFT & RIGHT- recording new material)

NEW MERCH

To coincide with the new album and to appease the hoards of fans that want to take a piece of emprica home with them, we will be creating a new run of Merchandise. We'll be making a mixture of Black shirts, of both male and female cuts. All shirts will be $20. We may also do some hoodies, if you would like a hoody, let us know. They will cost you about $40. NEW (OLD) CLIPS
Azza's younger brother Brett has also been busy recapturing and editing alot of old Emprica footage to complete some video clips from This Side Up. Already on YouTube or our MySpace many of you may have seen Hi I'm Just A Guy. But also awaiting to be uploaded are clips for Confused, Scoop and a small video montage for an instrumental version of Elimination of the Mind. The clips will be uploaded to You Tube soon and made available on both emprica.com and myspace.com/emprica

NEW GIG

If you wanna get your hands on a new piece of merch, head along to the Break Fest this year. The event will be held on Friday the 16th of November. We'll quite possibly be playing a couple of new ones off this album, but we'll see how we go. Headlining the event is New Zealand MC, Scribe along with his complete band. Also playing are Sparks Will Fly. Tickets are available from The Glenelg Shire Office, Nu Sound Portland and Capricorn Music in Warrnambool...it will sell-out so get in early.

Thanks again for dropping by. We'll see you at Break Fest 07.
